MEDICAL
We have fully qualified members of staff who can administer first aid to children across the College, with a senior member of staff overseeing the first aid care given to our students. If emergency first aid care is given it will be noted on your child’s Arbor record.
MEDICINES
Pupils who are competent will be encouraged to take responsibility for managing their own medicines and procedures.
Children not competent to do so should bring the medication, clearly labelled straight to Michelle Wood at the beginning of the day, with written consent from their parent/guardian. Prescribed medicines must be in their original container as dispensed by the pharmacist. A copy of the ‘Authority to Administer Medicines Form’ can be found on the link below. This form can also be obtained from Reception.
If your child suffers from asthma, please provide a spare pump which can be handed into reception and will be safely stored in case of an emergency.
If you have any questions about any aspect of medical care at the College please contact.
